No real channels on the television, have to wait to see the news which is ridiculous in today's world other than that value for money

The hotel is conveniently located to enjoy activities like cycling, exploring, fishing, stargazing, skiing, and boating. The bar serves local wine and beer, and the restaurant offers panoramic views. The amenities provided, like the terrace, garden, and laundry facilities, are quite something.
The decor could use an update, but it adds a certain vintage charm.

the reasonable price for a late booking (2 days before required)
The toilet flush didn't shut off, ie water ran into the bowl constantly.

A great base for activities like cycling, stargazing, and boating. The bar is a quirky sheep shearing shed, serving local wine and beer. Convenient location with shopping nearby.
The outdated room felt like a time capsule - a true blast from the past!

the location was excellent and the area interesting
The disable unit shower was not at all suitable for a disabled person - the step up was too high. In general the entire complex needs an upgrade - looks great from the outside but disappointing when you see the rooms. Also a microwave/toaster would be a great assest in the rooms.

It was a tired and rather run down place in need of an upgrade.

The decor was tired and peeling paint and mouldy roof

The staff were so chill and made us feel at home. The rooms were hella spacious, perfect for our squad. We were stoked that the hotel was close to Mt. Cook and had sick views. And to top it off, free wireless everywhere! #Goals
The only bummer was that the hotel didn't have a cool party scene. It would've been sick if they had a rad bar or some sick events catered to young peeps like us.

The Countrytime Hotel in Omarama offered a charming and cozy atmosphere that made me feel at home. The lobby had a lovely fireplace, perfect for relaxing and enjoying a cup of tea. The decoration throughout the hotel had a quaint and traditional style, which I found pleasing and comforting. As a senior traveler, I appreciated the hotel's accessibility, with easy navigation around the common areas and a welcoming ambiance that suited my needs.
I would have preferred if the staff were a bit more attentive and considerate towards us seniors. Despite their youthful energy, it would have been nice to have more assistance and guidance specifically focused on the needs of older guests.

We liked the friendliness and thoughtfulness of the staff. It is not a fancy place but the staff truly cared. They were all very genuine. Which we very much appreciated. No airs and graces just good honest down to earth hospitality. Loved it

Well to be honest our stay was only for a night, and the room was very dated the corridors felt like something out of the ark as they were so dark and dingie. The outside looked better than the inside. The food was great and the receptionist, waitress was very professional and bubbly which made us feel alot better about the place.
